    The BM 9000 has much sentimental value to me. My dad bought it right before I was born, and I remember toying with it as a kid and listening to music with it all the time growing up. I don't know what has happened to it since then in the time it's been in storage, but it's a rare and powerful machine that generally sells for a lot of money

    Greetings, I've previously sought help for my malfunctioning Beomaster 8000, as it would not power on. I still don't know what the problem is and have contemplated what to do with it. In the meantime I've acquired a Beomaster 6000 from 1981 and planned on using it with my Beocord 8004 HX-Pro. Today, however, the volume control on the Beomaster

    Hi Martin, Thanks for your response. The Beomaster does not turn on when I use the remote, but I'm not completely sure the remote works, either. I just replaced the battery in it, so I know that isn't the issue. However when I plugged in the Beomaster today, the small red standby light did not come on, so I'm pretty sure whatever the problem

  • Malfunctioning Beomaster 8000

    Greetings, I'm a B&O enthusiast, ever since I inherited my Danish father's old Beocords, Beograms, and Beomaster 8000. They all still work properly, except the Beomaster 8000.
