Well, yes, 6 weeks is getting excessive. I'd try yet another mail or even pick up the phone / send a fax - emails can get lost, grabbed by spam filters, and whatnot... (Really - if you're using Gmail for example, which has pretty trigger happy filters, take a look in the "junk mail" folder to make sure you didn't have a reply already

Have you read their delivery instructions? They explicitly say there won't be any communication if things go as expected (for them, that is). The first thing you'll usually hear is when the cartridge arrives. Given that you ordered before the holiday season, I wouldn't be alarmed.

Not wrong, but the for sale & wanted sections are reserved for silver and gold members only. You'll need to upgrade if you want to post there - you would also gain access to the manual database, and gold members may win some pretty awesome prizes as well.

Nice! The receiver part is obviously a 900 with a vertically styled faceplate. I don't know much about the older TVs, but it looks also more like a late '60s model to me.

It could be on the way of going out, but don't worry about that in advance. CD-Rs are more difficult to read, and many CD players - even if they are in complete working order - are temperamental with them. You might try different brand blanks, and often it helps to burn the CDs at less than their maximum rated speed. Apparently the end result is
