I completely agree with Chris. The first and last time (?) Beo had moving Beolabs was in the BV AV5 I think. I was thinking about building my own surround Beolabs, a kind od Beolab 3 with the motor driven ALT tweeters. I have the ALT tweeters of the Advanced audio system in my car, and it`s a nice feature to see them rising up when I start the engine

Yes, my dealer confirmed that. A lot of customers, who has an Avant, MX or BV3 didn`t want to spend the money for a BV7/9. They bought Panasonics, Samsungs, LGs... Now they are back and want BV8-40. I think for Beo it`s a great TV. Stefan

You`re welcome. When you connect your Beolabs to the Avant and set it to V.OPT 2 and the BS5 to A.OPT 0 , you would be able to control BS5 via RADIO ans CD commands. Stefan

Should work with AV - CD and AV - RADIO. Did you try that? Stefan

I have 11m USB cable. 4,5m cable and 4,5m extension, powered. I added a 2m non-powered extension cable. No problems at all. Stefan

Dass dein digital audio nicht per masterlink verteilt werden kann und auch nicht per RF modulator hat nichts mit "mangelnder Fähigkeit"des BV7-40 zu tun. Das funktionierte noch nie, bei keinem Beovison, und wird auch in Zukunft nicht funktionieren - jedenfalls solange es dieses Linksystem gibt. Ist auch schon etliche Male diskutiert worden
