• Re: What is your favorite vintage B&O product?

Well, the white BM2000 (early version) (already linked by Beocool above) is currently my favourite. It's large and heavy, yet has a certain elegance in both appearance and operation. Judging by comments and posts elsewhere on the forum the BM2000 has been highly rated yet overlooked for some reason. Graham

  • LCD/LED screen modules for CRT TVs

There have been a couple of impressive DIY conversions on the forum for LCD screens being used to replace Avant TV tubes. I wonder what the economics would be for either B&O or a reseller to sell LCD/LED conversion kits for TVs like the Avant? (Assuming tubes are no longer readily available at some point and/or a move to all HD broadcasting). Or

  • Re: First pictures of BV 10 (updated)
What is the point of making a flat TV? It's boring. They should embrace the third dimension.
Strangely enough I was just thinking that if the flat screen had come first, we might have all been willing to pay extra for a curved front TV! The Beovision1/ Beocenter1 televisions are really beautifully designed

  • Re: Is Prizebot too busy giving the server CPR?

I think PDBot decided to go out trick or treating and was caught-out by the forum coming back on. Definitely saw him slipping into the White House on the news.

  • Re: Sunday Times supplement
Does everyone in the UK have a house like the one on page 10? Bill
Typical modern large 'Executive' style house, but certainly nothing like the typical or average UK house. In a lot of areas this will be £1m+ territory! (Maybe B&O's target customer??) Graham

  • Re: B&O to abandon Scotland...?

I understand B&O independent franchise stores first get absorbed by B&O UK if they get into difficulties (i.e. don't meet targets), then presumably B&O UK decide on the closure (or not) which will inevitably be linked to numerous factors, including how long a building lease has to run etc. As to the argument about whether stand alone

  • Re: Sunday Times supplement

Nothing in my Sunday Times, bought in a pre-packed plastic bag from Woolton Sainsbury's. Hope B&O haven't been short-changed by News Corp after paying for a nationwide promotion! Graham

  • Re: Problems with UHF signal
I am having problems with my Avant tv where my UHF signal starts off perfectly but slowly disintergrates into total loss. Can anyone help with this? Thanks Peter
Can you elaborate on the problem? Do you really mean the UHF signal, or do you mean that your picture breaks-up, or is it your set top box? Provide
Hi Graham Graham your'e a 24 carot gem! how long has that user manual been on this site, it must be quite recently added.
