It is actually quite risky and tricky to set up a manufacturing facility in china. This is why mid sized companies often go into eastern europe plus they probably got some EU incentives. Lastly, production cost seem to be only a small part of the puzzle for B&O. And lets face it, they would never bend over and pass savings on.

I am pretty sure they are different. The wall part has too "claws" that need to be inserted into the backplate and I doubt the stand version has those. I have the vertical wall mount and there are no inserts for the claws from the horizontal mount. You can get the individual pieces as spare parts though.

The idea with the VGA is interesting. Does anyone know what resolution that input can handle? Is it a true HD like third input? Is not a cheap option though. JK

Do we really need to store the PMs on the website? I am getting an email anyway, maybe you can just reconfigure the software so that it just send emails but does not actually store the message. Cheers JK
