People seem to have test CDs that they regard as mastered well and are used to test various systems, speakers and so on. Does anyone have a test DVD? The only reason I ask is that I watched Valkyrie on Blu-ray this weekend and that disc really tested my BL9s. I heard (and felt!) bass that I would have expected through the BL5s. Really impressed. Too

I didn't miss the point at all Simon. You'd be surprised. However, little point moaning about the establishment, unless you intend to do something about it. It's not as if you're the only one under that umbrella. You have to elect a government that attempts to manage its population, be those single people, families, those with disabilities
I am still being controlled and told what to do. I am not consulted about what laws are passed; I am not consulted about any issues that really affect me as a 'free' individual. I am only ever informed of rules I break - most of them I have never head of anyway because someone else 'decided' (without
Moxman, I've read with interest some of your observations which are frightening, but I think your set was a bit of a dog.
To be fair, the crashing-under-Sky looks like it's a one-off. However, all the other 'issues' are across all MKIV's. I'm thinking the external Blu-ray internal

I read a review of a 100Hz Samsung LCD and it said "How will you know if the 100Hz is for you? Besides being able to set the Auto Motion Plus 100Hz mode to Low, Medium, High, or Off, users may also set the unit to its ‘Demo Mode' – a mode where the F8 splits its screen into two and shows you the difference between having the 100Hz
All sites need to be moderated or risk falling into a morass of flaming and pornography.
Yes, spam. Our magazine forums receive a hell of a lot of spam, even though you have to be a registered member to post new threads. I don't know why they bother. We have to clear the posts and then ban their IP. Lots
I could of course switch it for a new 7 with full HD, but that is a different calculation.
Not really. It's actually far easier. You already have the BV7-40 stand, 7.4 and BL9s (which is my setup, too). All you need to do is exchanged your MKII panel for a MKIII. I'd estimate you could pick up a MKIII
I don't really think a secret ballot is necessary or entirely practical.
It's this kind of talk that makes me think twice about paying up after my previous two years paid (and founder) membership expired. Sure, it's good to win a prize now and again (if I needed more kit), but I want don't want
I do not know what to do, and hoped for your qualified opinions and reason. I currently own a Beovision 7-40 MKII which is the HD ready, but not full HD screen. When I bought it from my local dealership I had a deal on a switch when the Full HD Blu-Ray Beovision 7-40 was out, but as times are my dealership had to close
Wrong! Moxxey. We don't all browse their site
You mean, people who use B&O kit, don't use the B&O website? I find that hard to believe that you make NO reference to the site. Besides, you miss the point. I'm saying that if B&O *wanted* to create their own decent user forum, they could
