I think it depends on the type of MX6000 you have. On my LX6000, which is the same as an early MX6000, using V.Setup and then pressing LIST brings up the bass treble and Loudness functions which then respond on screen to the up and down button on the Beo4. I had that - only the whole CD4 records are a disappointment and I have not heard a MMC6000 able to track a CD4 record properly in the last 10 years! You can use a shibata tipped stylus from Axel though. The BM6000 is a splendid device though - worth having as something just to look at! Always makes me think of the medical bed read out in the original

I like 4000s - well integrated sound with plenty of bass from a small enclosure. Also will fit in visually without making too radical a statement. The BL3 is definitely clearer but this can be tiring to listen to for prolonged period and the sound does sometimes seem to be divided into the sharp top end and the rest. They also don't do loud volumes

What else have you attached? I run multiple sources into mine by using both DIN and RCA inputs. As long as they are not Datalink, just the one playing will work. Tape 2 is a good input!!

Darren's method worked for me! Does it actually do anything? At work so no B&O! I take it you need the MLG to receive the signals?

You actually only need one! Only one pin is active. Martin has them I believe but they are not cheap - they take quite a bit of skill to make just the right size! The alternative is to take one from another product - as I said - they only need one!

Actually I might sell it! I forgot I had it until we cleared out the spare bedroom!
