Hi Andreas. As far as I know there are some certain issues with the Vista. However, in my opinion this should be a vista problem and not a Beomedia1. I never use vista since for hat ever you do you need to onfirm and create rule .......... Check the windows firewall and the connection settings in both machines. Sorry that I cannot help more. I have to disagree on this! I have connected my Beoport in the Attic with the main computer. On there I have a pair of Beovox RL6000 with a custom made B&O amp made by Ulf. I have never heard such a sound. Really powerful and without any distortion at all. I doubt if BS5 will have any success apart from people who do not care for any disadvantages
