• Re: Are there NO overall happy owners og BV 7-40 MK IV?

I can't speak to the MKIV, but our MKIII has performed flawlessly with one exception that was hardware related. B and O immediately sent two techinicians out who fixed the problem, two technicians who had to travel 180 miles to our home. We have a large amount of B and O, all purchased in the last 10 years and have always been happy with the performance

  • Re: BV7 MKIII & Apple TV

Yes, that is how I have it connected. I use V. Tape and AV V. Tape to access and the Beo 4 contols the Apple TV perfectly.
I actually dont know that, but i think you should be able to connect through digital AND phono at the same time so you are able to have Dolby SS and stereo depending on the input source.
That is exactly how we have ours connected.

  • Re: BV7BS3 speaker connections

I just tried something. I added an additional speaker to the BV7 menu (even though one was not actually connected) I assigned it the role of Right Surround. After doing this I was able to assign the two speakers that are connected, in series, as Left Surround and Rear Centre. So it does appear that in some instances speakers can be connected in series
As confusing as it may sound, the BeoSystem 3 will recognized daisy-chained speakers without issue. You will find that when assigning speaker types in the menu it will "fire up" each speaker individually and allow them to be named and configured individually, even if they're running out of the same

  • iTouch/iPhone as universal remote

Here is a new product to allow the iPhone/iTouch to be used as a universal remote. The last paragraph of the faqs specifically mentions B and O. But aren't B and O remotes rf, not ir? ThinkFlood :: The RedEye Remote Control System ThinkFlood :: Frequently Asked Questions - RedEye Support

  • Re: What do I need toget started...?

All you should need is a pair of speakers and the powerlink cables to connect them as well as power cords for the speakers. Any of the current speakers would work. I also believe that at one time there were speakers made specifically for your unit that attached to it. It might be possible to find a used pair.
