  • Re: BVis3 AC3 powerlink module - will it work in a BeoCenter 1?

Keith Saunders: The AC3 module used in the Beovision 3 is totally different to the one in a Beocentre 1 both in terms of functionality, internal connections and most importantly number of Powerlink sockets, i.e. 2 on the Beocentre 1 and 5 on the Beovision 3. So, the answer to you question is NO Really? Because powerlink module that the technician quoted

  • Re: Why do YOU buy into Bang and Olufsen?

TripEnglish: Well said, Simon. I feel similarly. I look for a combination of quality and character in things I buy. I find those things in Bang & Olufsen and in almost nothing else. There are too few companies like Bang & Olufsen and we're the worse for it. This is how i feel I really love music to, of all kinds, and i really appreciate

  • BVis3 AC3 powerlink module - will it work in a BeoCenter 1?

I was quoted 1700 aussie dollars to have a DSS board and new rear cover fitted to my BC1... i would never pay that much for that. but my BV3 has the AC3 module, which i don't use, is there a way of putting it in the BC1? (and obviously having B&O update the software?)

  • Re: Beomedia 1 with mac

TripEnglish: I use the same setup and it works great. I do, however, do things a bit differently than is recommended. The iTunes plugin creates a script that copies the music to the BeoMedia manually. I do not use that. I don't want duplicate files roaming around. (Some might, so don't take this as the best option necessarily). I setup iTunes

  • Re: Any Suggestions for a High Def DVD Player

Blue ray is dead anyway, so no sweat! Doesn't the DVD player in BV7 and BC2 (or should i more importantly say, BS3) upscale accordingly? Is this search for a HD dvd player for use with your B&o setup simply a case of getting "hi-end cables" if you know what i mean?

  • Re: Beomedia 1 with mac

So, can anyone tell me if i'm making a mistake by getting a BM1 to use with my intel imac?I've done ALOT of searching of the forums and i conclude that it's a product i want and will enjoy but I'm so worried it's going to be the biggest headache synching and tranferring data. How much i should pay for a used one, anyone?

  • Re: BM1 owners

tournedos: Dave: It's one of those wireless internet dongles, that i plug straight into the mac... i guess what you say means i'd have to send the internet through wi-fi from the mac to a router which has ethernet out? And the dongle uses the mobile phone network? There are routers which have an internal 3G modem. Then you'd just swap the
