If you leave close to a dealer, ask him if you can borrow a pair of BL9, and you can compare them in situ with your BL1/2, and you can decide for yourself.

Exactly, with large music library 2 way is not an option. But in addition, let's not forget that B&O want to get into the Home automation market, and therefore there is a need to display various information relative to your house (room temperature, etc.). p.

I think MK2 does not refer to the rumoured new 2 way remote, but there has been 2 versions of the Beo5 already. Not sure if the updated Beo5 was called MK2 though.

As the BM5 is connected to the Ethernet network of your house, which is likely to have a wifi router, then it would be quite easy. The BM5, being on the ML as well, could re-route commands to other devices.

Hmmh.... That's a good news, but it brings a lot of questions... - Will existing Beo5 magically become 2 way with software upgrade? (that would mean the 2 way hardware is already present). - None of the existing TV, Hifi has an IR emitter, so, how will 2 way work?? Wifi from the BM5 maybe?? p.

Beosound 2300 was just an amplifier. If what you have is the CD/Radio player with the glass doors, then you have a BeoCENTER 2300 (or a Beosystem2300, if sold with Beolab 2500).
