Other members support the site and prizes through their paid membership.
That is simply not true Simon. Not one penny of membership fees pays for any of the prizes. Every single prize in the monthly draw is either donated by a third party or supplied by LifeStyle AV (at Lee's expense). Chris.
Does anyone repair old B&O stuff based on cold hard logic instead of the vintage restorers lossmaking emotion?
Errr... no..... Chris.
Personally, I dont think people post rumours like this for a reaction or for being misinformed. Stars has heard or read something which may or may not happen, we will see but his post should be valued as much as the next persons regardless. I do not think the mobile market is the best place for B&O or another mobile

Thanks for the feedback. I'm not surprised that you have noticed an improvement with this repair. You have basically been upgraded from a MMC20S (S = spherical) to a MMC20E (E = eliptical) which is a higher specified cartridge and was more expensive at the time of release. Just a thought before you go further. Is the lid actually fitted tight onto the hinges, it simply pushes on? If there is a gap on the tabs at the end of the hinges then it needs gently but firmly pushing home until the tabs at the hinge ends are properly in place. If it is an adjustment problem with the left hand side you need to bear in mind that this

Hi and welcome to Beoworld. The RL7000's aren't really compatible as main speakers as they will need either a Beolink Passive or MCL2P converter to power them from the BS9000 - they won't simply plug into the Beosound 9000. These converters are really intended to be used to power smaller link room speakers in a multi room set up and would

A photo would help Ben. Could be one of a number of things but hopefully just an adjustment will do the job. There is a piece of black tape under the left hand side covering a hole which gives access to the adjustment screw (a large-ish white plastic HEX screw). Chris.

Hi Justin, there are 2 pins on the 7 pin plug which carry the datalink signal to the CD7000 which simply unscrew which enables you to use a 5 pin DIN to phono/RCA converter (I forgot that the tape 2 input on the 7007 was phono/RCA ). Don't lose these pins though as they are near impossible to find - I would tape them to the cable to ensure you know
