  • Re: Grand Prix Moderne Stereo 609

This Grand Prix set and speakers were sold last april and are now residing in a wonderful decor-shop in Japan where it entertains customers looking for 1950's and 60's classic scandinavian design teak and palisander furniture. Far away but it will still feel at home. Martin

  • Re: Beogram 1000 newbie...

Please report back when you have received the new belt. There are sellers that claim that their belts will work but they only considered the belts size when producing them and not the elasticity. The elasticity is particularly essential in these decks since the belt should of course have a good grip around the platter and the idler wheel but at the

The AC motor version does not have the speed trimmers but instead a phase- (or curve shape) adjustment that in severe cases can have some influence

  • Re: BEOGRAM 2400 Pick-up Arm does not work

I like to do my best but it's very difficult to diagnose faults to the mechanics inside these decks per email. At least for me it is. It's usually so much easier when I have it on the bench in front of me. You will have to take a look inside the deck and see if something is wrong. The mechanics related to the lifting and lowering of the tonearm

  • Re: Beogram 1000 newbie...

The Beogram 1000 came with several different motors, as two, three and four speed (16/33/45/78 RPM) and the early ones had this grey hammer-effect lacquer. Wonderful product and very popular. The radiogram is a bit rarer to see than the Beogram 1000 itself. You are also missing the tiny handle for the tonearm and that record cleaning thingy at the back

  • Re: BEOGRAM 1100 won't play 45 RPMs

Could be that one of the thin metal spring "leads" have come off underneath the square operating plate or something has blocked the speed changing mechanism. Martin
