This Grand Prix set and speakers were sold last april and are now residing in a wonderful decor-shop in Japan where it entertains customers looking for 1950's and 60's classic scandinavian design teak and palisander furniture. Far away but it will still feel at home. Martin

Please report back when you have received the new belt. There are sellers that claim that their belts will work but they only considered the belts size when producing them and not the elasticity. The elasticity is particularly essential in these decks since the belt should of course have a good grip around the platter and the idler wheel but at the

There are several different versions of the Beogram 4002 and the main board differs in most of them. With that the position of the trimmers. The Beogram 4002 was produced in AC motor and DC motor versions. The AC motor version does not have the speed trimmers but instead a phase- (or curve shape) adjustment that in severe cases can have some influence

Beomaster 3000 build series 1-3 goes to 108MHz Series 4 and later only goes to 104MHz. Martin

I like to do my best but it's very difficult to diagnose faults to the mechanics inside these decks per email. At least for me it is. It's usually so much easier when I have it on the bench in front of me. You will have to take a look inside the deck and see if something is wrong. The Beogram 1000 came with several different motors, as two, three and four speed (16/33/45/78 RPM) and the early ones had this grey hammer-effect lacquer. Wonderful product and very popular. The radiogram is a bit rarer to see than the Beogram 1000 itself. You are also missing the tiny handle for the tonearm and that record cleaning thingy at the back

Could be that one of the thin metal spring "leads" have come off underneath the square operating plate or something has blocked the speed changing mechanism. Martin
