  • Re: iTunes and N.Music help please!

Click 'Radio' in the left hand column of iTunes. It splits stations up into drop-down categories. You can choose to sort them by 'Bit Rate' by clicking the heading at the top, as many stations will have higher quality (112kbps and above) and lower quality (96kbps and below) versions. You can build up a playlist of your favourite radio stations by dragging

  • Re: ?? how to record N.Radio ??

AudioHijack will do the trick, but the full version costs money. Also, you should make sure you have the copyright holder's permission before you record any of their stuff. It's possible with a BeoSound 4 too, record N.Music onto the A.Mem card, and transfer the recorded files across onto your computer.

  • Re: A "slabby" record player

The Project RPM6 and RPM9 are both fantastic decks and would suit your needs. The RPM 6.1SB is generally around £550 or thereabouts.

The Awakening Of A Woman (Burnout) - The Cinematic Orchestra. Bought Man with a Movie Camera today, and it's absolutely excellent.

  • Re: Lifespan of B&O Design

I don't know what all this talk is of ICE Amps in the BeoLab 8000, I don't see how that should affect the lifespan of a product. The BeoLab 9 is obviously a very very recent speaker, and it still utilises class A/B amps...

  • Re: Apple TV - audio connection

No, you shouldn't need to adjust it. You will choose music through iTunes on your Mac/PC, choose 'Apple TV' from the wireless speakers menu which will appear in the bottom-right of iTunes, and the Apple TV will start playing music. You can then control this with your iPod Touch/iPhone as if you were normally controlling iTunes.

  • Re: What's playing RIGHT NOW?

Now listening to Spoon's 'Don't Make Me A Target'. Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga is one of the best albums of '07 IMO. Just been listening on my B&W DM7s for the last time before the buyer picks them up.

Now listening to Mendellsohn's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'. Excellent, although I tend to prefer impressionist and generally more experimental classical music...

  • Re: Apple TV - audio connection

The Apple TV needs a TV to be set up in the first place, but after that it will behave like an AirPort Express if you enable it to do so, so you can connect to just the audio outputs.

  • Re: BeoLab 8000 enquiry

Debateable! The 8000s produce a much larger sound for their size. BeoLab 1s are quite different from the normal 'B&O sound', many people often find their high-end a little too pronounced for their liking (I personally do as well), although there's nothing 'wrong' with this - it's just the kind of sound they're tailored to. Many studio monitors exhibit
