• Beogram 5000

Mods - if this is considered bad form, please delete with my apologies in advance. However, I thought I should share my Q&A with the seller of this Beogram 5000 . I asked the seller if the Beogram 5000 has shipping screws underneath the platter like my Beogram RX 2. If the seller confirmed there were screws under the platter, I intended to start

  • Beomaster 2400 - $25 Ebay Steal!

I have a Beomaster 2400 in the garage in pieces ready to begin a recap/relamp project. I've put off working on this because it's just too hot here in Florida to be working out in the garage. (Imagine sweat beads falling off my forehead onto the Beomaster as I work on it.) Anyway, I've been bidding here and there on other Beomasters, knowing

  • Re: S40 Refurb Project

Last night I received a new arrival from Ebay: A $25 Beomaster 2400. Oh. My. God. It's not in pristine cosmetic shape, but all the lamps burn bright, there is no flaw in the sound, all sliders are noiseless and work. Switches all seem to work. I haven't hooked up a phonograph or line level source (yet), but the tuner works perfectly. The refurbed

  • Re: Beolab test in the showroom

My advice would be to buy from a dealer who isn't reluctant to install several speaker/sub combinations for you to compare!
Hi Totally agree with Puncher here. That was exactly how it was when we made our purchase. I bought actually from a non B&O specialist and have no

  • Re: BeoVox MS150, 8" and 10" drivers bad in both cabinets

I had fun doing all of this: S45-2 project: Replaced caps in crossover Replaced terminal cup - new cup has 5-way binding posts Replaced all wiring Replaced damping material in cabinet, but left damping material as-is in the midrance subenclosure Replaced grill cloth S40 project Replaced foam surrounds on woofers Replaced caps in crossover Replaced terminal
Not sure which one you mean? I did use the 4400 with a BG4000, Becord 5000 and CDX but not sure if I took a picture of it. Did you mean the 4401?
It's ... it's .... it's ... The Precious.....

  • Re: Service needed
Hi Jon Interestingly, the most desirable and valuable component you have inherited is the Beogram 6000. B&O Kingston clearly don't know their *** from their elbow, as new cartridges are available after B&O licenced the manufacturing to a company called Soundsmith in the US. There are a couple of UK-based
