My Beotalk had a problem that was due to a loose connection at the splitter box. Solved with an elastic band! Do you have a dialing tone on the phone itself (with the Beotalk in place and without?) [..........at risk of stating the obvious but have you checked the line itself before concluding that there is a fault with the Beotalk?) Graham

Even my old Avant's Panasonic Freeview box has PIN code protection........ as I was reminded recently after using the 'Factory Reset' re-tuning option. The lack of a PIN to activate a stolen B&O system caused the thief to ring B&O to ask for the code.. [link] ....... and led to his conviction. [I've read that the PIN protection has not been included on the BV10!] Graham
