• Re: Beotalk 1200

My Beotalk had a problem that was due to a loose connection at the splitter box. Solved with an elastic band! Do you have a dialing tone on the phone itself (with the Beotalk in place and without?) [..........at risk of stating the obvious but have you checked the line itself before concluding that there is a fault with the Beotalk?) Graham

  • Re: Digital re-tune in the North West England
Hello Has anybody had problems retuning their Freeview TV's or boxes since 4th November when BBC2 analogue was switched off. I gather that some of the multiplex's have been temporarliy moved to new frequencies. I have a customer who is in the Winter Hill area with a good aerial and no previous problems picking

  • Re: Beo4 remote (?) will not switch channels on Humax F2 Fox -T box
I'm in the UK and my local digital TV Transmitter has just rearranged its channels and power outputs. I did a reboot of the Humax box to reset all the channels (rescan/set box to default)..but now i cant use the Beo4 remote to change the channels on the Humax box. I didnt alter anything in the Beo Avant TV setup.

  • Re: Request for PIN code leads to B&O theft conviction

Even my old Avant's Panasonic Freeview box has PIN code protection........ as I was reminded recently after using the 'Factory Reset' re-tuning option. These boxes are very small and were not particularly expensive when they came out, so it makes me think that the PIN technology can't be too expensive. Maybe no space for even the smallest

  • Re: age of members

Don't know how I missed this first time around, but there must be a few like me who missed it (and might like to confess now............ ) 63 but feel 30. Someone else has reported in this thread that looking back at 30 from 60 feels just like a couple of years, and it's true! Three boys, one girl. Graham

  • Re: BEOWORLD UK MEET - 2010
So far 6 definites, and 23 maybes. Early days, but not nearly enough people yet. If we don't get enough interest, this can't go ahead - sorry Lee
I would guess that a lot of people would like to come as a couple/ bring friends etc. So at least double the definites/maybe's??? Picking a precise date

  • Request for PIN code leads to B&O theft conviction

The lack of a PIN to activate a stolen B&O system caused the thief to ring B&O to ask for the code.. [link] ....... and led to his conviction. [I've read that the PIN protection has not been included on the BV10!] Graham

  • Re: Retrieving pictures from old thread

Think you'll find that this is a long-standing problem that Keith is progressively dealing with.
