I would also be worried about the whole thing tipping over, and getting seriously damaged... It doesn't look good, if you ask me, the proper BS9000 floor stand is the way to go, such a beauty.

I'm with Nikola, I bought a BV5 this summer, and must say it's one of the smarter things I have ever done. Since I like you don't watch much DVD's, don't care for BR (yet!) and don't have HD cable TV, I don't see a point in getting a HD TV. For the money you get a lot of design and TV when buying a BV5 these days. Granted

I'm going to get the M9... Not sure this year, but early 2010 I think. And I have to sell my M8 first.

Knowing a few of us on this site use the Leica M8, I'm thrilled with the idea Leica is producing a real successor to the M8! It will be FF and aprox 18MP. Don't know what the price will be, but I'm hoping under 5000 euro.
