I am looking to replace two 500GB USB HDs that are slowly filling up with somethign I can hide in the close. Is anyboy using a NAS and if so why? I am looking at Netgear/Infrant Readynas. The Duo would do, however I do not really need the raid level / protection and it seems one can't switch that off. The NV is very expensive and is supposed to

It seems the STB versions are locally different. They do not store all devices but only what is common in a country. It seems a bit chaotic. I.e. here in US t was working perfectly but nobody did know. I asked Beocare and it toook them long time to confirm but in the end they did. So maybe mention that it is working with the US BV 8 32 and the Ipod

Personally, I would prefer the Beo 5, with the Beo 4 I miss illuminated keys. I will not get a Beo5 though unless I get the software, might look at it when the Beosound 5/Beomaster 5 comes out.

Did you click the button under log out or under the country field where your adress i stored? I just clicked on the button under the country field ... it said a confirmation email has been send, it does say though under membership that i cant upgrade ... maybe someone else can help ... cheers JK

can you post details, I have it working. I.e. what source you are using, what port the IR connector is linked to, STB version ..... I am in the US, it worked out of the Box on the 32". Is "AppleRemote" the STB controller you selected? Mine is called "Ipod Remote". it works including fast scrolling. Cheers JK

<<Now I look at the BV7-32 << True, but then take a look at the BV 7-40. Similiar expensive but still seems to be a decent value compared to the rest of the range. When I first looked at the Avant, it was 10,000$. Now, may years later, the BV7 is around 14K here in the US. I somehow feel that is reasonable. Actually considering currency

While I would love to see lower prices I am not sure if it makes that much of a difference when you hit the B&O price range. Either you love the design & functions and must have a product or you don't. Even though for me price is a major restriction what I can do, I don't think someone who can spend 6000 on a TV would blink with an eye

I think they got that point. If you read the Loewe financials, they believe that havng all models in all sizes is one of the keys why they are/were reasonable successful. I personally would have loved to buy an updated BC6 in 26 or 32", or an more up to date BV7 32". BV8 works just fine and it does look much more interesting then a sony or

Well, the curent BV7 32 is certainly sofar behind that it should not be sold in my opinion. I am hoping though that they will still support the less then 40" segment with full blown TVs. The BV8 that I have now is certainly just a workaround .... at some point I would want a full blown cinema installation without the BV taking over the room. Which
