Suggest you check that the tweeters are working. I have used BL8000 in all sorts of situations but could never describe them as having "lots" of bass unless the tweeters are not working!

It is neither necessary or possible to buy thicker powerlink cables to give more/better signals. The signal is already at it's optimum level for active speakers.

Such a thing does not exist! It's either Beocenter 2500 - No speakers Or Beosystem 2500 - which is the above combined with Beolab 2500 speakers.

I am afraid that they are "hundreds of dollars". B&O no longer manufacture cartridges full stop. You need one of the MMC20 series. I cannot recommend s/hand from eBay as most will be a rip off. Your only sensible source of new is www.sound-smith.com where you will get a warranty and an excellent product.

There is both! A phono input with built in RIAA pre-amp and an AUX input without.
