I might be wrong on this however there is one chance if you short circuit two cables from the masterlink socket of the Master Panel which then is working on test mode. I'm not sure if you will have a sound on the Avant though. could be worth the try but only if some specialist does this.

Just an idea. Wouldn't it be better to keep the money for a while until you settle to a new job? Sorry for mentioning this but under the current global financial crisis we all have to be a bit careful! After all this is just a hobby.

In most of the cases the sound will come after a few minutes the TV is on and will usually will come and go when I change channels. However the noise is getting a bit worse and now in some chanels coming more frequently
