search for beosound 5 or beomaster 5 ..... we have quite a few pieces of information ... My understanding BC5 was renamed to that. cheers JK

If you got the BS3 already I would probably go after a B&O panel regardless if it is worth or not. The trouble is, that the BS3 officially does not support anything else. And while osme had (limited) success making it work, I personally would not want to have to jump through hoops or take the annoyance of getting burned in an upgrade down the line

I do not know why component doesn't work for you, it might be that resolution is too high or not supported. http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=305096#step1 If you check here, the ATV should still give audio out through analogue. I think there are also special cables that go HDMI to DVI and split off the audio as well .... Cheers JK

I considered the NV which has 4 ports, the Pro is probably even more expensive. Thing is, the Duo might be a bit better for home use since it is designed around silent operation. I might sell it down the line without drives and upgrade to the bigger brothers, I read that as well that you can just take the drives and transfer them. I will post how i

I settled on the readynas duo. http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/content/view/30462/75/ While I think I can run over the 1000GB over the next 18 month I think I can manage by removing what I don't need. While I though long about the Readynas NV it makes more noise and is probably much more then I need. All I want is a shared place for my videos and

yes it does, but you need a cable that has either 4 rca/cinch connections on the other end or that is specific for outbound. If you just have 2 most likely you are using an inbound cable ..... JK

There are few that have it. I am happy with mine. Was a bit of a compromise, I would have preferred BC6 or BV7 32 - not available in the US and the chassis are a bit outdated on both (one HDMI is not a lot but still better then one DVI buddies). Just watch out that you get everything that you need connected. I have BC2, Apple TV, a Wii and left the

Assuming you have the right cable, if no speakers are connected to the BS9000 it will not send anything to the aux out on my MK3. I do not know why that is. However when I plugged a dummy earphone plug into the BS9000 the AUX out signal came. I think any plug that fits will do, maybe just try plugging in a pair of headphones first. Cheers JK
