That's good to hear :) Yes I was very careful when centering but it can be done on the diaphram - You can see an edge that the coil sticks too but get this dead right, make sure the coil isn't mis-shapen. Hope the repairers do a good job for you!

Have you thoroughly checked the screen connection in the DIN plug? If not it might be easiest to remove the right hand panel and use a meter to check continuity all the way through to the RCA plugs and trailing earth.

When testing transistors I normally isolate the base or any two of the legs and perform b-e > b-c then e-c So say on TR31 which is an NPN type you want to do the following.. positive lead goes on base, now between base & emitter =0.6v then base
