Hi Tim, I'd go on eBay for such a product. Alhtough it's a really nice product, don't expect too much. Best regards Spiros

Hi Jeremy, I would go for the Beolab 6000 due to looks since they fit better (imho) in a fairly large room. Concerning sound I concider both of them equal although there are opinons that say BL4000s are better. Regards Spiros

Hi there. Removing the doors is quite easy as you have to unplug the Overture from power when the doors are open. Then you have to bring the outer edge of the doors to inner (sorry for my English). About the back cover, it should also be straight forward. However if you are a Gold Member, you should be able to download the service manual. Best regards

If I remember correct BM5000 does not respond to the Beolink 1000/Beo4 commands. However maybe it could work if it was A.Option 0?

I'd go for the BV5. Quite honestly I use so little my TVs so I wouldn't mind so much for an HD or something like that. Think about what you want to use it for. If it's only for some News or maybe a good movie I wouldn't concider going for the latest. But it's only a matter of taste!

I would also suggest that you take it to the service. I think that if it is a matter of re-flashing, should not take longer than a couple of hours (if not minutes) and you will take it back home happy!
