I guess I never gave it a thought as to how volume is represented in digital music ... I naively assumed volume control always happened at the end point/terminus, rather than at the source ... foolish really :-S

I have a Beosound 4 (with 6000s) but now that I have captured all my CDs as MP3s it now operates as a link room controller rather than an Audio Master :-( There are many reasons for this: we no longer
