Hi Peter, Sadly I had to get my MKIV picked up yesterday and am using an 'old' BV7-40 MKIII - all the problems I had have gone. Yes, there's hope it might be LED backlit. However, as the BV10 is supposed to be based on the existing BV8-40 technology, there's a strong liklihood it won't be LED backlit (in the same way the BV7-40 isn't).
