• Re: BeoVox MS150, 8" and 10" drivers bad in both cabinets

That's bad luck. Not sure why one of the units buzzes he should be able to say why.. I would suggest the coil former is not aligned or miss-shapen. Anyway you need some identical replacments you might want to keep an eye on ebay etc.. put a wanted here and talk to Dillen (Martin). Just out of interest get the old ones back and take some pictures

Ah personal preference rules! Would still like to see though. Hey I think the system would look cool sitting off that white wall but maybe that is just me!

  • Re: Hope one of us got .......

I think that could be considered getting caught in auction fever, which in my book is bad news. For me I set an amount and if it goes for more I do NOT punish myself because even if I had placed a higher bid the other party will have mostly outbid me again! It is worse in auction rooms because there is no clock! - I recently saw a 9500, matching beogram

  • Re: Hope one of us got .......
I cant get my hands on a Beolink 1000 to save my life - always get outsniped. I place my bid usually in the final 20 seconds or so but not always. I have won auctions where I had a bid set out for a day or two.
20 secs is probably why you get out bid - I watch until 8 seconds (sweating and pulse racing :) ) then

Nah it's still an auction - it happens in real auction houses people wait till last minute then show their hand... If someone outbids you it is ok becuase that was all you were prepoared to pay for the item :)

  • Re: Help with a Beogram 4000

Great link soundproof I need to do this myself on 3 dustcovers soon so worth investing in the gear I think! One thing of interest (maybe) is that model makes, when polishing clear plastic (cockpits and widows etc..) finish with 'future' floor polish to fill in any microscopic scratches etc. Results in a really superb optical finsh but there
