Remember also that if you connect Apple TV to the TV by HDMI you will not get sound in the link room. Must connect the Apple TV to the TV with analog cables. We have ours connected with both HDMI and analog.

I just tried it and it did work.

Turning off the iTunes equalizer solved the static problem. All does seem to be working well now with Snow Leopard.

While I can get BM-Link working reasonably well, I have noticed another problem. At certain frequencies there is now a bit of static. I have listened to the same pieces of music via Apple TV and the static is absent. HAs anybody else noticed this? I have just about decided to do a backup and reinstall the older operating system.

The issue is related to settings on the iMac. Having now changed some settings in the "Audio Midi Setup" the volume is now fine in the two link rooms but soft on the speakers connected directly to Beoport which is fine as I do not turn the volume up very loud on the speakers with the computer.
