Beovision 3-32 with extra DVD player might be a good option as well - lower price than the Avant DVDs. If you like the looks. I did''t from what I saw on the web, but now... have look at my signature - there is a post with picture of my setup as well. Try to get a TV with built-in Dolby Digital module (and Masterlink of course). Ralf

See this thread http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/thread/76526.aspx for alternatives to Beolab 2. I use a 100 € non B&O Sub connect via DIN/RCA cable to my BV 3-32 DD module. Ralf

symmes: 1, If you have phono outputs on the tv, you can hook rca cables straight into the 6000s (separate line jack on us model) and control them with the tv or cable box. You might need to switch them off with a switched outlet. There are: RCA phono type connectors (L, R) (1 set rear) http://www.hdtvtest.co.uk/Panasonic-TH42PX70/Specification.php

This is from the specs, but they look just the same.... with IR eye and ML used as Beolink Passive for Link Rooms, without the eye and using the powerlink connection as an amplifier. So to me they are interchangable... Can anybody confirm this? Ralf

I suggest getting a ML cable and setting it all up in one room. Option L.Opt 4 (L-shaped room). If this works, it must be your cabling. Ralf
