The logical suggestion would be to test another Beo4. If the problem still exists, then something's up with the TV (or the way you're operating the remote, but it's hard to see how you could do it incorrectly!). If the problem doesn't exist, then your Beo4 is faulty.

GO GO is select, as you rightly point out. GO and leaving alone for about 5 seconds will cause 'play' to be pressed. This will jump you into the Planner to choose a program to play. Therefore the obvious issue is it's only registering one of the GO's. Maybe if the batteries aren't the issue, the button's wearing out?

Semi relieved that it's not just me, but equally as irritated that software updates fixing bugs are causing yet more bugs. It really is getting ridiculous now. Only plus side to this bug is I can probably live with it for now - it's not as bad as previous issues people have had. Hope it's sorted soon.

Has anyone got any issues with Software 8.12a? I've noticed that when press V.MEM or PC to turn on either Sky HD or my PC from standby, occasionally the Speakers just don't turn on - no sound. I have to go to TV or DTV and then back again to get the speakers on. It happens almost 100% when turning Sky on when the Link room is already watching

I don't know. I really like the look and proportions of the BV/BC6-23. Not sure they make it anymore. It works well enough, too. Only downside is it's not HD - but with the current link system, it's not HD via RF Coax anyway.

If you've got a USB keyboard, you could try rebooting with that attached. Though if you manage to get it to boot and it bluescreens again, then it's dealer time.
