Hi I had a similar arrangement some time ago but I disconnected it. With the BC2300 on the network, there are no problems when you activate CD or RADIO and the unit performs OK. However, when you activate NMUSIC or NRADIO and only expect BeoPort to perform, the results can be strange. Since the NMUSIC and NRADIO codes are the same as the old ATAPE2

Hi Menahem Since the unit only gets hot when the arm is down and the solenoid has been activated, I can only assume that it is the solenoid that is overheating. Perhaps the switch by the side of the solenoid is remaining closed when it should be open and that would simply be an adjustment issue. That switch must open to reduce the current through the

Hi BenSA I think that you have hit the nail squarely on the head. I have never actually seen the component side of the 1900 board in that area because I have never had a reason to take off the front control panel. Now that I have taken a closer look at the solder side of the 1900 and 2400, the boards appear to be similar but the 1900 has a mass of "dummy"

Hi Large48 At the moment I am using a 14V power supply connected directly to the remote battery terminals while the plastic cover is off. This will get me through the testing phase while I determined if the remote and the receivers are able to work properly. As Peter has mentioned, 15V compatable batteries are still available but from what I have seen
