  • Re: IR through the 7-40

Thanks both of you. Weebyx, are you sure that the Xbox can be included in the STB list ? Does that include the old X-box as well ? Best regards Hans

  • Weak IR-signal ?

I have a Lutron-system with a wall-mounted keypad with a built-in IR-eye in one of my rooms at home. When I use the Beo 5 it is sometimes pretty hard to get the signal to the Lutron-system, I have to be pretty close. Can the Beo 5 be set in some sort of "dealer mode" which gives a weaker IR-signal than normal ? I can recall that I have read

  • IR through the 7-40

I have a old X-box that I would like to hide and control with my Beo 5. If I buy another IR-cable and connect to my 7-40, does it let through the IR-signal from the Beo 5 "unconverted" or does the 7-40 convert my signal before it sends it through the STB-cable ? Best regards Hans

  • Re: IR codes X-box

Hi Magnus ! Thanks for your reply. What do you mean with this : "The 4 bit address for the xbox is "5" or "0101" in binary if i remember correctly" Do I need the send "5" or "0101" before the command I would like to send ? The commands that are listed, do they need to be sent with binary ? Regards Hans

  • Re: New rear speakers ?

Thanks for all comments. I use a 7-40 MK III as TV in this room. A pair of 5s would be great in the front and the 6000s great as rear spakers. The problem is that the sofa covers the entire wall. I need some rear speakers that I can place on the wall. Still confused, keep on posting. Regards Hans

  • Re: New rear speakers ?

Hi, thanks for all comments. I'm sorry I left out some information in my post. - I have Beolab 6000 and a Beolab 2 as sub. Everything is bought in 2004. The 6000 most for the design which I think fits my room perfect. With the Beolab 2 I also think the sound is really, really good. Dreaming of BeoLab 5s in the front some day of course. - The reason

  • New rear speakers ?

Hi, I am about to get new rear speakers for my system. I have been looking at both the BeoLab 3s and the BeoLab 4s but I am not 100% satisfied with any of them. Does anyone know if there will be some new speakers released this autumn ? Best regards Hans

  • Re: Link problems

Thanks Dylan and Stefan, that is the solution for distributing the signal to more than one room. But I still dont understand why I cant get the SAT picture from the 7-40 to the 7-32 ? If I set the 7-40 in V. OPT 2 and the 7-32 in V. OPT 6 should I be able to control the STB from the 7-32. Or am I wrong ? Best regards Hans

  • Re: Link problems

Yes, that is correct. The MX 4002 is connected to the RF out of the BV 7-32. The BV 7-32 RF in is connected to the BV 7-40s RF out. I dont understand is why i cant get a SAT picture from the 7-40 on the screen of the 7-32 ? Regards Hans
