Great! Thank you all.:) I'll check first from my local electronic parts dealer if they could get me the relay. Btw, any ideas on the BC "Load CD" button problem of which i explained above? I see there is no easy way to clean the switches without taking the glass out first, but somehow that doesn't sound very tempting...

Hi! That's true and it's really great there are people like Peter and many others here who are willing help in various ways. This was a good example of how special this forum and it's members are.

Jandyt: Peter: Just pulled my 5500 apart - the relay seems to be a 6V one and is on PCB2 just in front of the speaker 1 outputs. No make on mine but Martin will know! Peter. Did you just pull your 5500 to pieces just so you could answer Redfresnel's question? Andy T. I don't know what you meant by that, but i must say I really appreciate your

I was gonna say "consider it done", but something with my card or bank doesn't work with the system. I got a message: "Your order could not be completed, please check your details or try another card." My card is Visa Electron, maybe i should upgrade that too! ;)

Is there some kind of picture available for locating the part inside the Beomaster? Or is it available only for extended memberships along with the manuals? Ok, I'll try to get my hands on the MCL, tracked one down on ebay! The glass is not loose or anything.

Hi there! Just a few guestions about BeoCenter 9500 and Beomaster 5500: 1. How do i replace the muting relay on 5500 and will i be able to do it myself? I am somewhat experienced with electrical stuff and soldering. And where can i obtain the part(s)? 2. I have three pairs of passive speakers, of which two are connected to 9500. So can i connect the

ed7: Lunds DK: Count me in. Anyone thinking of buying shares now - seriosly, there half the price of january 2007. I mean, we all know that this is just a phase...... aren't we? Lundsby i was thinking of that too The price graph for the shares has taken a deep dive as the value has been halved in the last 12 months. I suppose you could buy shares

One of the problems on products getting obsolete is maybe the amount of different standards and formats we have today. Whether the majority of customers could afford B&O or not. I am not saying it's wrong to first spend money on researching formats and standards and see if they are to last more than 5 years. The problem comes when the other
