So if you have connected an audio source via masterlink to your BV 7-55 and you select Radio or CD, the motorstand should turn to the programmed audio position. My BV 7-40 does so, but only if the TV is switched on before to video.
I have never thought about that so I just tried it with my BV7-55. My stand never moves to the Audio position.
Did you program a different motorstand position for audio in the setup??
-
Hi all, on my BV 7-40 it is possible to program different positions for the motorstand (video, audio, standby). Normally the positions for audio and standby will be the same. I have programmed different motorstand position for audio and standby (for test purposes). When I choose an audio source from standby (Radio or CD), the BV 7-40 doesn´t turn

Hi Karla, I had connected such a converter to my Avant and it worked perfectly. But I hoped I wouldn't need a converter with my new BV 7-40 3D at all, because the ATV 2 is connected via HDMI. But as mentioned the sound of the ATV is only distributed to link rooms and beolink passive if the BV 7 is switched on. So the ATV 2 must be also connected

In the service menue of my Avant there was an option "Avant type". There you can choose "Internal VCR" YES or NO. /Räuber

This solution would be more difficult than a small digital-to-analogue-converter between the ATV2 and the BV 7-40. I have already a beolink passive connected via Masterlink. At the beolink passive there are normal speaker cables connected which are leading to my outdoor terrace. When I want to hear music on my terrace via Airplay I have only to press

SAT bzw. DTV). Alles total easy! Gruß vom Räuber

Hi muntbeoman, you are absolutely right, I have already a second ATV2 in my linkroom. I only wanted to discribe the issue with my linkroom. In real life I want to hear the sound of my ATV2 at BV 7-40 on my terrace. On my terrace I have passive speakers connected to a beolink passive. And of course I want to hear the sound via Airplay WITHOUT switching
