Hi Ken I had a Mk3 Bv 7-40 and found that the Clock could not be made to stay on all the time, which was a shame and there is nothing in the Mk3 Menu to let you do that either! Looks like it was only the old Mk I Bv 7-40 that you could display the clock full time!

Would an AST Upgrade on Bv 7-55 would just be an update,no hardwear Needed?

No worries and not a silly question, if you don't know! Take a look at a Bv 7-40 Mk3 and see what you think! Good luck.

Sorry to inform you but you can only get the Beosystem 3 built in the tv from the MK3 Bv 7-40 Onwards! Which is a full 1080p Tv. The mark 1 and 2 Bv7-40 is not.

I had a Bv 7-40 Mk3 and never had a problem with the fan's and If your going to buy a Bv7 the Mk3 is the one to get as Full HD and 4 Hdmi's unless your not bothered about HD. Picture was fab too! I was running Sky Hd,Virgin V-Box,PS 3 and Beomaster 5 with no problems also useing the projector out as well to a Jvc Hd1 Hope this helps.

Kma....Sorry to see your having porblems with you Bv10 and the Pictures you took look really bad and I for one would not Keep that Tv,it would be going straight back to the dealers for a replacement! and if the replacement was the same,a diffrent model or a refund! And how B&O can say it's not a fault and to me the tv is not fit for use! I hope
