I definitely think the M9 is THE camera we've been waiting for, just a shame about the shutter. But like you said it won't be much of an issue for most users and certainly nothing compared to the great improvements the M8 was in need of.

Just realized the new M9 only goes to 1/4000th shutter. Why?! Looks like I'm going to stick with the M8 so I can continue shooting with the Noctilux in sunlight at f1.

Was the security pincode entered correctly when the power was restored?

I used a Samsung but I don't remember which particular one. If I recall most Samsungs shared the same remote puc at the time unlike Sony and many others. They may still.
