I don't think any of the dealers here took your remarks personally, sodoi! Although Symmes is a cad, a bounder, a scalawag, and perhaps, a scamp. Another likely issue is that the container carrying your order is being held for close inspection by US Customs. This has been an issue over the last few months. In today's world it is becoming the

You can still order all the drivers as new replacements for the Penta from your favorite B&O shop. The woofers will run about $70 each and the mid-ranges look to be about $50 each.

My experience closely mirrors Trip's. The latest software seems to have squashed the bugs. I will say, however, that having lived through the roll-out of the BeoCom 6000/US 10 years ago, this could have been worse. At least with the BeoCom 5 the problems were universal, not market specific, which brought B&O's full attention to bear much

With the proper cable adapters you should have no trouble running the 9's off of a laptop computer, the laptop's volume control will provide the management you need. While in the case of the ATV it has no volume control of its own, as it expects to be used asa source in some sort of larger A/V system, so I can't pretend to be surprised at
The most ironic part is that Steve Jobs WAS holding the phone "that way" during the big Apple event when he unveiled the new phone AND COULDN'T GET IT TO WORK because he was covering the antenna and didn't realize it!
A small point here, but Steve was having trouble with the Wi-Fi access point

Hi Roger, welcome to BeoWorld! I am going to make a huge leap here and presume that you are using the 9000 without Bang & Olufsen speakers attached directly. In this setup the 9000 powers up and defaults to Audio Option 0, which means that it is blinded to the remote control. Put the 9000 in stand by. Hold down the stand by button on the remote

OK, our display unit just arrived and we have it running now...serendipitously enough we are using the BeoLab 3's, not the suggested 4000's. My initial reaction is positive. At low volumes the difference is apparent but not gob-smacking. At higher volumes the difference is quite startling. The in-store display allows for near-instant switching
I've got another BL-11 question for the group: In talking with one of the B&O dealerships on this side of the pond, I get the impression that B&O is marketing the BL-11 as a good sub for the BL-4s and BL-6000 class of speakers, and suggesting that the BL-3s probably deserve the more powerful BL-2. Thoughts

You can change to default settings for both audio and video sources in the Audio Adjustments menu.

Hi Andrea, you will need a 'new' BeoLink Converter, a MasterLink cable, a fully wired PowerLink cable, and an Aux/Datalink cable to hook those 2 together. You will want to set the 9300 to Audio Option 0 and the BS-3 to Video Option 2. Everything should be fine from there. Good luck!
