The Beomaster 5 page on the B and O site speaks of using the Beo 6 to select music but makes no mention of the Beo 4. Perhaps that indicates it will work? Should be simple to test. Unplug a Beosound 5 from a Beomaster. I would try it but my Beo 6 wont be arriving until later this month.

Any news on availability?

How about wall mounting a pair of the new Beolab 12s?

I think mine are the 9 meter ones.

I have no problems, other than I very much wish a one meter or even shorter cable were available.

I have an Apple Airport Extreme but do not yet have my Beo 6.

Russ's comments make complete sense. I just ordered a Beo 6 to use in my second room. Before ordering it I discussed with my dealer exactly the scenario Russ describes. I considered buying an Encore instead of the Beo 6 and placing it next to my primary sitting position in the second room. And yes, it was my idea, not a suggestion from my dealer
