  • Re: Do rear speaker make sense in my setup?

I think rear and/or surround is the best use of BeoLab 4. 3 mounting options.

  • Re: Soundsmith, contact problems

I spoke with Peter at Sound Smith. We had a nice chat, and he assured me that he is working 12+ hours, 6 days per week, working through his cartridge building backlog. As was mentioned, backlog worse because of holidays and weather. He asked me to send him the link to this thread, and I encouraged him to respond, though I imagine many would prefer he

Not to mention, there is a real good chance they have been without email (see www.weather.com). These people have an excellent reputation, and have had one for years. I really doubt they would stake their reputation on screwing you over. Of course it COULD be a conspiracy or the Mexican drug cartel. I will call them tomorrow and have them check this

  • Re: Internal or external Blu-ray for Beovision 7?

Unless it is part of a masterlink system, I would buy my own blu ray player. There are new Samsungs coming out that are really cool (as in B&O) looking, and in 3 years you won't be using it anyway.

I recall a former employer signed a development deal with Ford Auto 5 years prior to putting the first yard of fabric in the Taurus interior. Since I doubt that any screen supplier gets overly excited with B&O volumes, it would logically follow that meeting B&O's demands comes with

[quote user="355f"] It would seem that more of the complaints relate to LCD technology than B&O themselves. Compared to plasma its a very second best and when OLED becomes a commercial reality LCD will fade away. Just a great pity that B&O could not lise with a better commercila partner than Samsung to at least give some sense of value

  • Re: French dealerships

Next thing you know, people will start using BeoWorld to shill the stores they like by trashing the ones they don't, and conversely. They will be motivated to do so by comments that say "I will be going to X store because BeoWorld says its a good one", because we all know all you have to do is google "Bang & Olufsen X" and
