Is it possible to connect to only one of the powerlink sockets (front speakers) and then use a Y-splitter to connect the other Beolab 8000?

Im quite sure that the DVI is unable to handle signals from a HDMI. Its only for connecting a PC.

Yes, loading of a new build has to be done by the dealer. You should claim it is a warranty issue. Then the upgrade is at no cost.

It's from my iMac over wireless.

Setup: Apple TV 2 -> HDMI -> Beovision 10 40" with BL8K connected as front speakers. When I play music on my ATV2 and set sound to Speaker 3 there is only sound from the TV. All settings in ATV2 seem correct. Movies plays well in speaker 3. Any clue?
