Depends on the format that you imported them into iTunes. If you used Apple Lossless, then these cannot be played by BM5. If you used AAC or MP3, then yes, that's about all there is to it. If you used FLAC, then, last time I tried (a few months ago), BeoConnect didn't like those so I had to transfer using Finder. The artwork comes automatically

They're $2500 + ~$500 shipping. It is hard to say whether this is a good price because, in the US, they are a rare find used. Relative to original retail, this is an amazing price (although many argue they were overpriced). I seem to remember seeing them sold for ~$4-5K a few years ago. I see they go for $3-4K at the 2nd hand UK retailers which

I swallowed hard, took a chance and bought a 2010 9-5 Aero this past February. The car is awesome. I get complements on it all the time ("Saab?!? I thought they went out of business!"). I hope Saab can get their act together so you can get your Estate (and I can get my 3 yrs of free maintenance, and many years of paid maintenance afterwards

Thanks for your input. I will now report my findings: I was hoping to fall in love, but that did not happen . To state the obvious, they are BIG. Perhaps too big for their intended placement (the room has a very high ceiling, but it not very large). Then again, when I'm not feeling self-conscious about their "look at me" size, I find them
Hi Peter, its a digital output. Maybe better to connect to the satellite decoder instead (uk sky tv)....
I'm with Peter on it being an issue with the sound going into the Active vs. any issues in the B&O side - I had a similar setup for a couple years (even programmed by Beo5 to control my non-Beo TV

Jump! jump! jump! jump! Ok, I rarely post nonsense posts like this, but it is Saturday night where I live . I guess it's time to put the computer away...

The idea that has been discussed in the past is along the lines of the lense appearing in some way - perhaps rising out of the speaker similar to what some of the ALT car speakers do when powered on, and disappearing when powered off. Probably much easier said than done, but it's this kind of "magic" that we expect from B&O. Stan

You might try: Spoon, Muse, Ben Folds, Arcade Fire, Ray LaMontagne (if you get away from the songs that the radio has killed) or some more well known bands that you did not mention: U2, Coldplay, Radio Head (if you think you don't like RH, try "The Bends" - this is an earlier album when they were perhaps more rocking vs. electronic). If anybody in the USA is looking to sell their BL1's, I am interested. If you're in the Chicago area (like me), that would be outstanding as I'm afraid these will be crazy expensive to ship. Stan
