LongView: Zwets: You could download the free program from Microsoft named Virtual PC 2007. This allows you to boot a XP session under Vista 64bit. I assume Beoport will run in this session. That might be a viable solution, although far from ideal, except for the fact that Virtual PC and Virtual Server do not support USB devices. There are some virtual

hmm, I would for sure give it a try before placing it. Just solder the plug on the wire and mount the IR on it, just to see if it works. Cat6 is low on capacity.

Take a look at electrical brands, such as Vynckier, Legrand and on. They have watertight electrical boxes that fits your measurements, equipped with transparent front plate. Have you thought for speakers of B&W? I'm running a pair of ceiling speakers from that brand, they sound excellent and they do have outdoors as well.

Thanks for the nice replies. The controller is very functional with the player, I can use all regular commands, apart from putting it on and off. But I can live with that shortcoming. Next time I buy a DVD player, I will take a better look, maybe asking to try it first at home.

All daily using functions seems to be working from the Beo4, but the only, and most important feature, activating or placing it in to standby does not work. I

But it will be difficult to get them, most shops don't sell DIN connectors anymore, its a outdated connector from the '70. Well, don't tell NAIM that. You're right in that DIN connectors aren't used as much by other manufacturers, but NAIM swears

Hagen2000: Nice thread so far... I would like to know if there are high quality DIN connectors available - to replace the connectors on my powerlink cables as well as the females in my BL8000s. The problem is that the B&O connectors (just my personal opinion) are low (consumer) quality and I experience from time to time hum and other problems due
