I agree with the above I think the 7.1 / 7.2 are both better than the 4000's. I have the bl 7.4 mounted under my bv4-50, I am very pleased with the sound and particularly the look of it, although as it is a mono speaker it is only suitable in a surround sound set up. I have added a picture, although now looking at it it seems it has been stretched

Just for the record, worth pointing out that from a screen and picture/sound quality point of view BV9 is the same as BV4-50 + BS3. Also I have not seen permanent screen burn on my BV4-50 d9 panel yet (4 months heavy use) , sometimes logos are retained for a while if the same channel has been on for several hours, but these disappear quite quickly.

Corvin Just a suggestion perhaps a post about the speakers in question rather than the bs3 regarding quietening the relays may get a response. Cheers Peter

Hello Corvin I see a similar symptom with some channels on my UK Sky HD stb, it seems to be channel related, on a few channels the BS3 continually switches from speaker 3 to speaker 5. Im guessing this is broadcast related as it is only a small number of channels where this occurs. Cheers Peter

If I leave my BS3/ BV4-50 d9 on a logo heavy channel for 5 / 6 hours the logo images are initially retained, but they go away within a few days of further use. I have not seen any permenent retention. Peter - interested to know how to turn on the screen easer I have not seen this feature. Cheers Peter

My BS3 upscales very well, it makes DVD look like HD, and analog and SD TV look nicer too.

I read a post on the old site that the North American version does not have any Scart sockets where the UK version has 3 scarts. Maybe one of our Amercian members could confirm. Cheers Peter

I have a PS3 connected to my BS3 / BV4 - 50. I have tried a few bluray discs out, the picture is excellent, clearly better than DVD, and the PCM sound is way better than dolby digital 5.1. Cheers Peter

In the UK the BS3 is £5,100 including the DVB-S/T module and VAT. Peter
