I have a similar setup (ATV2, BV8, BS4 in "link" room, BL4s in real link room). Last weekend I was trying to see if I could get the digital sound from the ATV2 translated by the BV8 and put onto the MasterLink for the remote rooms. Maybe I was unlucky (i.e. incompetent ) in my attempts to understand the Beo4's AV command, or the BV8 does
The video with Geoff is recorded here
Mønsted Kalkgruber !! Only an hour from Struer ... maybe we should add it to the Struer tour ... I am sure the "fabric selectors" would love to see the bats :-)

As an aside, while we wait for Botty's gears to be well oiled, can I suggest you all rush over to the BeoWorld site ? They have put up a great "what moves you" clip

At last. Two things: 1/ I had not seen the IR (I guess) lens with a green detail (when on?) on top of the frame of the BV12 before - a very different appearance from previous BV approaches ... I wonder if it also operates as a display? (e.g. volume information etc feedback? the 45 degree angle makes me think it may be) 2/ on the main page of the site
My idea is to connect the Mac Mini by using the digital connections direct to the Beolab 5 and still connect the Powerlink to the Beocenter 2 (For Radio / DVD). I control the Mac Mini with teh LinkPlayer solution.
1/ although the AUDIO from the MacMini will be sent to the Beolab 5s via the optical interface
maybe this link works???
yes it did ! but the sight of spooling magnetic tape sent shudders down my spine ... too many of my cassettes have been mangled ... but a great idea maybe I should do one using the iTunes icon ? (as a replacement for 45s, LPs, cassettes, and CDs ? )
I am using a beosound ouverture for the 6000s an will use the powerlink to rca cable from one of the powerlink outs on the 6000s to the sub.
I understand ... however you will not get the "offloading" effect that Beolab1 and I described. In fact, your BeoLab 6000s will continue to struggle to play
