The link module shows this to be about 15 years old - it looks lke one 4 pin and one powerlink socket to control power via a Beolink - I am guessing for a TV, remote stand and video from an ex display...... Excellent find and worth £100 to some - 100 pence to others! Brian

So when can you come over and repeat the process with another VHS Avant and a DVD1 ? I am not sure even wit hthe pirctures taht I would trust myself to do it! Well done! Brian

I can recall when these were at the local B&O dealerships! The idea was to keep the cost down (thankfully) as it is the stylus that needs replacing usually rather than the entire cartridge. When the smaller and lighter ranges became avaialbale they went to a cartridge replacement scheme...(darn disposable society!) Brian

I think you would need to bridge the output - take the left hand channel from BM8000 socket 2 and feed to one Cona input on both left and right channels. Add to the fact that for the UK the pound has fallen from 2 dollars to 1.45 then it makes it a 70 per cent increase! from about £215 to £365!! Brian

I would be happy to help with trying to help set it up! I have drilled a few holes between rooms - but if one is careful then one can hide much of the cabling under carpets, along curtains, skirting boards, behind cabinets etc. Having lived in rented accommodation for many years I learnt to minimise visible scars! At the end of the day you are using another 50sq inches and moving more air - but with the two pentas that is twice the 78.6 (as I was basing it on one Penta!) already! I have Lab IIIs so am not sure how easy it would be to connect a passive Cona. I need to check frequency crossoverpoints as the COna may well be concentrating on the lower frequencies
