yeah probably, but 4.1 with a bias to one side just doesn't cut it.

  • Re: Beolab 5 failure

I appreciate the help, but power to the speaker is via a simple 2 core lead from the socket. not much can go wrong here, Can not see any reference to a fuse in the guide. Not very happy at the moment though.

  • Beolab 5 failure

I am just watching a movie and noticed one of the front chanels not working. One of my BL5's has no indicator light at all, i disconnected power for about 5 minuites and still nothing. It just acts as though it is not plugged in. Any ideas as to the problem anyone. (of course i have checked the power outlet!)

Australia also had a price rise on the 1st June. Most products seemed to jump by aroung 10%.

  • Re: beosystem 3 and blue ray

Thanks Beonut, maybe it was the software version that was causing confusion. I have 2.7. (I wish B&O would provide a changes list fir each software version) I had originally bought a optical to coax converter for the Playstation but realised that it was not needed.

Isn't that because you require speaker 5 for the surround? I am using the HDMI only and the surround is fantastic. Think i have only tried PCM with the Playstation 3.

Using the Playstation 3 I selected sound settings and PCM from the Bluery disc menu. I noticed an incredible amount of depth to the sound. Far supperior th movies in Dolby Digital.
