  • Some new Beo5 user questions

    Today I hope to receive my Beo5 together with a Beovision 8-40. Looking forward to that! My Beo5 will be pre-programmed but I would like to be able to program/adapt the Beo5 myself. Some questions in relation to this: - I have version 2.20 of the configuration software; is this the latest version? - In this version the Beovision 8-40 is not available;
Mijn dealer komt

  • Re: Beovision 8-40 connections

    I am wondering about the DVB-T/C input. Could there be a way of getting DVB-C to work without the use of an external box? I know this works for some Philips, Sony and Loewe tv's. Any ideas or even better experiences? Regards, Bieele

  • Re: Trip to Struer - all expenses paid?

    Great idea; I stopped by the B&O site in Struer this week, it 'happened' to be on our one week camper-tour through Danmark this week! My wife thought is was strange to stop at 'a factory', but we did anyway. To be honest it was a bit disappointing because there is not that much to see if you can't go in. We where there on the
Hi Bieele I have checked your error codes with a B&O technichian and the answer is that the chassis has to be changed because it cannot be repaired by others then B&O themselves due to software chips,it's normally done with a switch over so that the old one are sent to b&o and a repaired one is mounted

  • Re: interim tv solution

    Hi Jan, Thanks for your help; typically I get the error codes: 88-2B: RGB video processor 8C-2C: Deflection processor (HOP) Sometimes I get more; but these are almost all the time available. Hope you can get more info from this. Not sure if I will try the screwdriver trick; maybe better to have somebody else do that (to avoid I break it myself). Bieele

  • interim tv solution

    Hope somebody can help me with the following idea: My avant is dying; it will shut down due to an error quite frequently; repairing it will cost 600 euro. Therefore I expect to buy a new b&o tv by the end of this year (I want to wait for he bv10; and then decide btwenn bv8-40, bv10 and bv7-40). However; I want to create an intermediate solution
