Apparently, from January all speakers listed below will no longer have the traditional Powerlink DIN sockets. Instead, they will be fitted with RJ45 sockets and therefore you will need different Powerlink cables. Speakers which will be manufacturered with RJ45 sockets are:- BeoLab 2 BeoLab 3 BeoLab 4 BeoLab 9 BeoLab 10 BeoLab 11 BeoLab 4000 BeoLab 6002

Until this week all Beo6's had firmware version 1.01a installed which did not support WiFi To use WiFi with the Beosound 5 you must remove the Beosound 5 from your Beo6 configuration, then add it again and when the updated configuration is download to the Beo6, the B&O Configuration Tool will automatically update the Beo6 firmware to version

To connect the Beolab 3500 MCL to the "Speaker 2" sockets you need an cable as shown

The Master Control Link (MCL) does not come out of a 7 pin din connector on the Beomaster 5500, it comes out of the "Speaker 2" sockets"

Yes, you do have WiFi once the new firmware is downloaded into it by your dealer

Yes it is. If a Beo5 gets a faulty screen, the screens are no longer made, so B&O produced a kit to upgrade it to a Beo6
