• Re: Brand new MMC4/5

I have just inspected several MMC4's that Axel has done for me and they would appear to have the same problem visibly. However, the sound quality would appear to be good. The phenomenon is not apparent on MMC2 and MMC3 which all appear quite "normal". I noticed a problem with the MMC4 because the arm lift is only just sufficient for the

I avoid Facebook and Twitter and all others of the same ilk! Please don't pollute BeoWorld with these parasitic websites.
In case the service is not that what can be expected, that's the difference!
I get fantastic service from Axel and I don't buy from him as joeyboygolf. I think you may be overestimating the importance of being a Beoworld member! Good customer service is something that comes quite naturally to the vast

Neither seller knows what he's talking about. The first ones will not fit RL35 but will fit RL45, RL45.2, RL60 and 60.2! RL 35 were never meant to be wall or stand mounted. They are a bookshelf speaker. The second ones will not fit RL7000 and if they do, they won't fit RL6000 or RL60! It is difficult to get an idea of scale from the pictures

I can assure you that they are not all like that! Indeed, I have always been delighted with all the MMC4's that he has done for me. Sometimes the tracking weight needs to be adjusted upwards slightly. If you are still not happy then send it back to Axel for examination.

  • Re: Which beogram?

Your Beosound 3000 does not have Datalink so you won't be able to remote control the turntable, which ever option you choose!

  • Re: Which beogram?

Much easier to just plug and play! I've tried loads of the cheap pre amps and so far they have all been rubbish, including the one marketed by our sponsors. The cables introduce more humm and the pre amps are not made for the low output from a MMC cartridge. Yes, they do a job if you are not willing to spend out on the better option.

  • Re: Which beogram?

Unless you want to mess about with a stand alone RIAA pre amp and associated cables and hassle you are limited to one of the following 5. Beogram 3500, 4500, 6500, or 7000 from the modern lightweight series or the Beogram 6000Quad from the heavyweight earlier series.
