• Re: Beogram TX Platter replacement?
Atlantic Systems emailed me saying that they do have a limited number of those platters in stock but they are in worse cosmetic condition than the one I currently have... Any other ideas?
If it were me, I'd watch The Bay and buy a second deck. They go pretty cheap when there's a flaw (bad dust cover

  • Re: Anyone into slide rules?

It's not the slide rule that attracts the girls, it's the EP of the guy using it.

I'm afraid the BC5000 has to be put on hold for a bit. I've got to get one of my M70's sorted out first. I've got distortion in a tweeter that has to be investigated. • Re: Anyone into slide rules?

I am old enough to have grown up in a house with a slide rule in the cupboard, yet young enough to have never used one. Give me an RPN HP calculactor and I'll take on any of you "a slide rule is faster than a calculator" posers.... @Soren Mexico - couldn't stay away, could you? Or did the server timeouts go away?

  • Re: Beomaster 1900 parts

Just wanted to pipe in with what I've learned in the last day or two about my BM1900 currently in the shop. One of the faults with my BM1900 (and something I didn't even know because i never used them) is completely failed potentiometers in the bass and treble controls. My shop tells me the failed potentiometers are no longer available, but

  • Re: beogram 3404 electronics problem?
Just got back into town a couple days ago. Rich, thank you so much for the adapter, this thing sounds fantastic! I really can't get over how much more robust the bass end is compared to my other table. I'm really happy with it. I may junk the table though That beogram 1700 is still for sale for 50$. The
