sorry if you find a discussion about working conditions in china or elsewhere 'racist'....but that is certainly not the intention behind it. Rather it was to add another dimension to the debate, namely the moral one concerning how workers are treated. There is a reason why euro/US companies outsourse there - to decrease the costs of labour.

((((ps - for the record, I would not use anything Bose make unless I need a new "generic" doorstop at some point - but thanks for the suggestion ))) LOVE THAT COMMENT FOLKDEEJAY on a more seroius note, the reason I dont like B&O outsourcing to China is that the reason companies can produce and sell prodects cheaply when produced there

lovely design Tomaz!!! - clean n simple...I guess the put-down by Microsoft judge should reallybe taken as ultimate compliment. After all, what have microsoft ever designed that was beautiful? useful yes, beautiful?? Absolutely not. Can you really imagine that Microsoft could ever have made anything using white alloy? What would they then do with their

lol @ Steffen....a bit harsh on the old Brit Gyrodeck!! but I know what you mean - its the sheer aestitic simplicity of B&O that makes it so desirable. Having said that, I would actually consider a Gyro as its sound is meant to be rich and deep, esp if you have the top notch Tonearm. However, on balance, Im movibg towards a Beogram 6500 or 7000

well, this is not what I was expecting from the product launch...its as attractive as a car battery. I hate it. I certainly wont be adding it to my collection anytime soon. its a nod to the iPod generation, where sheer quantity takes priority over quality. Dont get me wrong, I love my ipod/iphone and I love that some of my music, even though its compressed

(after i rip my walls apart! again!) I

Hi, This might seem a bit of a dumb question to the more technically advanced, but I will ask it anyway! I am thinking of buying a Beogram 6500, 4500 or 7000 (all of which Im told have a built in RIAA pre- amp?). how does this hook this up to my system??? ....is it tru the TV (BeoV 7-40 Mk111) or tru my CD (Beosound 9000). Resaon I ask is the cabling
